The kitchen has granite work tops, 2 sinks and a hand wash basin, a hatch to the main room, cutlery, crockery and cooking equipment for 25- 30 people (plus melamine ware for younger children).


There is an instant hot drinking water boiler, a kettle, toaster and microwave.


The cooker is a Belling 900 with 5 hotplates, a separate grill, and 2 modest ovens (52 litre and 76 litre capacities).


The fridge/freezer capacities are: 170 litres of storage in the fridge and 45 litres in the freezer.


Storage space is provided for incoming groups to use for their groceries.    


There is an external door from the kitchen. A suitable fire extinguisher and fire blanket are provided. These are checked annually, and plug-in appliances are PAT tested annually. There is a fire/smoke alarm which is checked weekly and serviced annually.
